Our commitment

Sleepy Tales Farm Sanctuary is committed to making its website accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology. We aspire to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium.

What we do

• Semantic HTML with proper heading hierarchy.
• Alternative text on meaningful images.
• Sufficient color contrast (target 4.5:1 for body text).
• Keyboard-navigable interactive elements with visible focus indicators.
• ARIA landmarks and labels on interactive controls where appropriate.
• Responsive layouts that work on phones, tablets, and desktops.
• A “skip to main content” link at the top of every page.
• A “reduced motion” respect rule that disables non-essential animation for users who prefer it.

Known limitations
